Leaving from Plugz shop in the Fisherman’s Wharf, start this downtown adventure by following the water’s edge all along the Embarcadero (constructed in the 1860s atop an engineered seawall on reclaimed land) , go see the seals at the popular Pier 39 and grab some local produce at the Ferry Building (farmer’s market on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday) .
Discover the home of the SF Giants at their baseball stadium AT&T Park, and the Willie Maze plaza. Grab a piece of fried chicken, a waffle and a blue bottle coffee at Little Skillet, head up the MoMA (Museum Of Modern Art) and to the YBCA, and enjoy the featured artists.
Check out Market Street, visit the Jewish Museum, , get some shopping done at Union Square, and finally slalom between the Financial District’s skyscrapers until you hit the TransAmerica Pyramid (tallest structure in San Francisco: 850 ft, built in 1969 and now housing retail and offices). Learn about the city’s transportation evolution at the Cable Car Museum,, travel from busy Chinatown to romantic North Beach (Italian District) and visit Saint Paul Roman Catholic Church.
Climb to the top of Coit Tower (210 ft), where you’ll have the greatest view of the cityscape.
Last but not least be careful going down the 8 hairpin turns of Lombard Street.
